Rose Chenna Delicacy

It’s Holi so we should have something special and colourful on this day as it is a festival of colours and of course flowers: so I thought of making a Rose Chenna Delicacy it is such a Vibrant Sweet and so very like Sondesh!!

This Delicacy has Rose petals as well as Chenna i.e paneer/ Cottage Cheese in it so it’s also a very healthy n delicious sweet to savour.

Ingredients for Rose Chenna Delicacy

  1. 1/2 kg chenna/ paneer/Cottage cheese
  2. 3/4 cup powdered sugar( less if u prefer)
  3. 3 tbsp of milk
  4. 2 tsp ghee/ clarified butter
  5. 2 tbsp rose syrup
  6. Few rose petals cleaned and make small pieces

Method of making Rose Chenna Delicacy

Heat a pan n add the mashed paneer to it, add the milk, sugar, ghee n let cook for 5 mins till all the milk is dried up.

Then add the Rose syrup n some of rose petal pieces in it and mix thoroughly.

Take some mini Cupcake liners and put 1 tbsp of the mixture in each till all of the mixtures is used up; Decorate with rose petals and chill in the frig for an hour and serve!!

I assure you that this is a Delicacy that everyone just loves and what better than to make it for Holi?
