Salad makes a Woman Happy!!!
So if you want to make Your Woman Happy. Eat More SALAD, Hahaha!!
On a Serious Note, Salad is one of the most Healthy Food we All must have at least once a Day.
The Red of the Tomato, the Green of the Lettuce, The Yellow of the Corn, the Purple of the Red Cabbage.. the more Colourful the Salad, the More Nutrition in it.
I am sharing a Recipe of a very Healthy & Delicious Salad which has a very Unique Dressing.
Ingredients for Mediterranean Salad
- 5/6 Lettuce leaves ( the big leaves)
- 1 cup red cabbage chopped well
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 TSP olive oil
For the Dressing–
- 1 cup hung curd / Greek Yogurt
- 1 zucchini grated
- Sea Salt to taste
- 1/ 2 TSP honey as preferred
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 1 TSP dried oregano/ rosemary
- Crushed Khari/ Bread Croutons
Method of making Mediterranean Salad
Wash the Lettuce leaves well & put in Ice water
Heat 1 TSP olive oil in a grill pan
Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan & grill for 2/3 minutes
For the Dressing—
Heat 1tsp olive oil in a pan & toss the grated zucchini just for a minute till it gets a crunch
Take a bowl, add the hung curd, grilled zucchini, salt, Pepper, oregano, honey, olive oil & mix everything well .. Chill for sometime
For the Assembling–
Take a plate
Arrange the Lettuce leaves in the plate
Add the Chopped Red Cabbage
Pour the Chilled Dressing on the Salad
Add the grilled Cherry tomatoes
Top with Crushed Khari/Bread Croutons…
This is a very Mediterranean Salad that I have put together from my Trips to various places, it has a Great Flavour & Crunch.
So Easy, Quick & Delicious.
Add in Corn, Mushrooms… Anything you like!!!!
