Khasta Palak Paratha Recipe

Festival Time is on & so was posting only Festival food for all of you. But everyday Comfort Food has always loved & something all of us need as that is so vital for the well being of our family. So today I will share Khasta Palak Paratha Recipe with you.

Palak or Spinach

A very Beneficial Green Leafy Vegetable that is full of iron, vitamin C & a whole lot of other advantages, is sadly not liked by a lot of people especially children who are not too fond of spinach.

So how do we add spinach to our daily home cooking?

Simple, add it into certain dishes that do justice to our Humble Palak & also to all who don’t like the spinach.

So I am going to share my KHASTA PALAK PARATHA Recipe with you & I bet not only the kids but everyone will love it. These parathas are so soft yet crunchy that its a pleasure to eat them with a Sabji or simply a pickle of your choice. I love it with my homemade Butter or curd which is next to Heaven for me.

Spinach, as I said earlier, has a lot of health benefits & is said to be full of energy. In fact, the Famous Sailor Man Popeye’s strength is supposed to come from a tin of Spinach, once he would consume the spinach, he would be able to fight his enemies 😃😃 A Great story to share with the kids maybe to make them eat Spinach.

Here is Khasta Palak Paratha Recipe

  • Roll out these balls into a disc or a circle.
  • Then fold it into the half, sticking it on the sides with a little ghee & flour as shown in the video above.
  • Now fold it again so that it becomes a triangle & stick the sides again.
  • Roll out this triangle from all sides into a thick paratha.
  • Heat the triangle paratha very well on both sides till brown spots appear.
  • Apply ghee on both sides & cook until it is done well, should be a little crunchy but not overcooked.
