JAMUN SHOTS is a recipe that is wholly enjoyed in the Indian Summer as it is not only delicious but also great for hydration during the sunny days 


Recipe for Jamun Shots 


250 grams Jamun or Java Plum
4 tbsp Sugar ( lesser if preferred )
1 cup water 
12 Ice Cubes
1 tsp Kalanamak or Black Salt
Juice of ½ Lemon
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp roasted cumin / jeera powder 


Wash and deseed the jamuns
Add the deseeded jamun, water, sugar, Black salt, lemon juice, cumin powder in a blender & blend all together
Blend the jamun mixture till it is smooth and uniform.
Place the ice cubes in glasses of your choice ( tall or shot glasses )
Pour the jamun mix in the glasses and serve immediately.
Garnish with mint leaves
