How to Make Turmeric Chutney
Turmeric Chutney on Occasion ofChutney Day by Rushina Ghildiyal on 24th September 2017.
I have pledged 3 to 5 Chutney Recipes which will be Delicious as well as healthy according to Ayurveda- India’s Pride.
I have already posted a Curry leaves Chutney. the second recipe is a Chutney with Raw / Fresh Turmeric.
TURMERIC has many benefits in Ayurveda and Naturopathy. It is used for its Antiinflammatory benefits, is a natural Antioxidant, great for the Digestive system. It is good to treat Stomach Ulcers, Rheumatism, Eye Infections, Cholesterol problems. there’s a lot of importance of Turmeric for our Good Health. One of the best for Glowing skin.
Ingredients for Turmeric Chutney
- 100 gms Fresh Turmeric
- 6 big Garlic cloves
- Juice of 1 big Lemon
- 1 medium piece of ginger
- 4 green chillies ( can take more or less as preferred)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Half cup of water
Method of Making Turmeric Chutney
Chop the Fresh Turmeric, Ginger, chillies, garlic.
Mix everything Turmeric, Ginger, chillies, garlic, sugar, salt, lemon juice in a small mixer jar ( sugar is a must to reduce the tartness of the Turmeric)
Blend all the ingredients well by adding the water….add little by little till you get a thick consistency, we don’t want a liquidy Chutney.
Remove the Chutney in a nice bowl, ready to be served.
Serve with Bhajiyas, Aloo Tikkis, Kachori any Snack, it tastes Amazing.
Prepare this Chutney & store in the freezer, will stay for almost a month. you can even add it to your vegetable/ sabzi for a great Flavour.
But have it Fresh if you can as it tastes the best. Freshly made.
