Diwali Special Magic Chocolate Sandwich

Diwali is just around the corner.

And as promised to you I am going to be posting a few recipes which will be quick and easy to prepare for Diwali. Diwali gets you in such a festive atmosphere that you want to cook delicious food but also want something quick as there are so many other things to do during Diwali. Like lighting candles, bursting firecrackers, doing rangoli, getting dressed for the occasion and so on. I love this festival and do you?

So let’s get started with the recipe of Magic CHOCOLATE SANDWICH which will be prepared in a jiffy and it is so Yummy and Delicious.

So Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients for Chocolate Sandwich

1. 4 to 6 digestive biscuits
2. 1 cup melted dark chocolate ( just melt the chocolate in the microwave for about 40 seconds)
3. 2 tbsp Nutella/ any hazelnut spread
4. 1 tbsp orange marmalade
5. 100 cream cheese
6. 2 tbsp vanilla ice cream

For Decoration

1. Melted chocolate
2. Any chocolate piece u like ( I have taken Cadbury Silk)
3. Sprinklers
4. Edible gold powder to dust

Method for  Chocolate Sandwich

Take a parchment paper in a flat tray/ dish.

Take a digestive biscuit, dip in the melted chocolate.

Repeat with the remaining biscuits.

Let them dry on the parchment paper for some time or chill in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes for the faster result.

Mix the cream cheese, Nutella, orange marmalade, vanilla ice cream and mix well with the hand whisk or cake mixer, mix thoroughly.

Now take the chocolate biscuits from the fridge. take one biscuit, apply the cream cheese mixture on one side and top with another chocolate biscuit.

Take some melted chocolate, apply on the top of the sandwich and press a chocolate piece on it so that it sticks well and then decorate with some edible gold balls or some colorful Rainbow sprinklers.

You can also simply just put some edible Gold powder on top of the sandwich to make it look very festive.

Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.

The Magic is Done… The Chocolate Sandwich is Ready to be served.
